To create awareness of chosen topic, we need to film a short video in a group of 10. Our group have came out with the topic of urbanization, over-population and global warming. We went to different location to take scenes that needed in our film. Along the 'trip' while filming, we fall in love with nature that there's no man-made structure and polluted air.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABLE DESIGN PROJECT : GO-GREEN 2015 SHORT ENVIRONMENTAL FILM
Environmental sustainable design is now getting more important in construction field. Green concept is now the main concept of every town planning and also building construction design.
ARCHITECTURE CULTURE AND HISTORY PROJECT 2 : REPORT ANALYSIS
After conducting a research and analysis of PJ area, now we need to choose a building and carry out research and analysis on it in a group of 5.
After discussion, our group have chosen PJCC as our research target. Before we go for a visit to PJCC, we do our reseach on internet and figure out what is lacking on the internet and plan to get those information during our visit to PJCC.
During the visit, we taking photos, analyze and also interview some of the people in charge to get more information for our coming report.
ARCHITECTURE CULTURE AND HISTORY PROJECT 1 : RESEARCH TIMELINE AND ANALYSIS
PJ is where Taylor's Uni located. In this assignment, we were 'lucky' that given the area PJ to do our research and analysis. It's a big group work that each small group of 5 conduct research and analysis of a part from PJ area then compile it together.
Timeline is important for every country, state and also city. PJ is quite a historical area. We conduct research and analysis about historical timeline of architecture and also background of PJ. Modern architecture style is what we need to focus on.
There's a lot of historical building around PJ but some of them had lost it's information due to lack of data secure.
We have chosen few most famous and informative building to put into our timeline.

ARCHITECTURE STUDIO II PROJECT 2B : RETREAT HOUSE @ CAPE RACHADO
2B the final project that is part continue from 2A. By using the same site analysis, we can either choose one new location or stick with our 2A location to building a retreat house based on a random given character. The character I get is Romantic Writer.
First is to research on what our character is and then develop a concept that is match to our character.
Romantic and writer are quite similar, when both goes together, it will become a person that is emotional, randomness, nature lover, beauty lover and privacy. Based on these few characteristic, I develop few concept from it for my retreat house design.
ARCHITECTURE STUDIO II PROJECT 2A : INTRODUCTION TO SITE ANALYSIS & OBSERVATION DECK @ CAPE RACHADO
It's activity trip and we are going to Cape Rachado, Melaka. This activity trip is to learn how to conduct a on site - site analysis. Collecting data by walking through our site.
In Cape Rachado, the site are divided into two site which is site A and site B. Both sites have it's own pros and cons. Students are separated equally into two groups.
For this assignment, I've team up with Winnie and both of us are in group A/ site A. We have chosen a cliff which is located at the end of the beach of site A. Before designing our observation deck, we first gather all the elements around site A that inspiring us. Our final decision is to create a landmark by using verticalily concept that inspired by trees along the trail to the beach.

ARCHITECTURE STUDIO II PROJECT 1 : DIAGRAMMATIC ABSTRACTION
In the beginning of Semester 2, for our studio II first project is a group of 5 project. We were placed under a category of a famous architect and a random masterpiece of him. The architect that we got is Adolf Loos and the masterpiece is Scheu house.
Before everything started, we were required to carry out a presentation of our research on Adolf Loos and Scheu House which include the background of architect, the style of architect, context of the structure, elements, circulations, form & space of the house.
After the slides presentation, we then proceed with drawing out the orthographic drawings of the Scheu house and build 10 diagrammatic abstraction models to showcase 10 of the interesting point of the Scheu House which is :
- Hierarchy
- Approach
- Symmetry & Balance
- Massing & Structure
- Additive & Subtractive
- Opening
- Experience
- Circulation
- Repetitive to Unique
- Enclosure & Exposure
Model making is fun but hard since we need to produce 10 models which is quite small and also a lot of progress model before the final one. In the end, we arrange our models in order and using orthographic drawing and presentation board to indicate our final outcome.

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT 2 : CONSTRUCTION DETAIL AND SPECIFICATION
Details is important in every construction. Different material, different construction way, different construction site have their own details and specification.
Project 2 is a co-op project with studio 2 final project. By adding timber or steel into our studio design, we need to know how to details and specification of chosen materials works on our structure. This is to develop our understanding of materials in construction industry.
There's three specific category that we need to include which is : Roof construction, Super Structure and Join & Connection. We need to draw, label and annotate each details and specification

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT 1 : EXPERIENCING CONSTRUCTION
Every building has it's own stages of constructing it. General information from the internet may not apply to every building around us. We carry out few site visit to construction site to learn how different building has it's own different way in each construction phrase.
There is few main topic that we need to cover into our report during our site visit which is:
- Site Safety
- Plants and machinery
- External work
- Foundation
- Super structure (beam, column, slab, wall and staircase)
- Doors and windows
- Roof
In a group of 8, we carry out our site visit at few construction site to gather more information which is Kota Damansara Residential area, SS 14 Residential area and Bandar Seri Coalfields, Sungai Buloh. Each of the site are in different construction phrase that other site might not have or we can compare it between each site. Three of the site are residential construction site so that we can compare the difference between them.
